About My Beverage Company
My Beverage Company is a growing beverage business expanding its direct sales presence across Florida, starting with the Tampa Bay and Orlando markets. As we scale, we're building out our field sales leadership team from the ground up โ this is a rare opportunity to shape a sales organization early and grow with the company.
Position Overview
My Beverage Company is hiring a Sales Manager to build, lead, and manage our field sales representative teams across the Tampa Bay and Orlando markets. This is a ground-floor leadership role: you will personally hire, train, motivate, and โ when necessary โ terminate junior sales representatives as you build a high-performing team from scratch. We are looking for a proven sales leader who wants to grow into a larger regional leadership role as My Beverage Company scales into new markets.
We are only considering candidates who can demonstrate a documented track record of leading a sales team โ not individual sales performance alone. This means verifiable experience hiring, training, coaching, motivating, and managing performance (including termination decisions) for a team of sales representatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Hiring: Source, interview, and hire qualified sales representatives to build a high-performing team in both the Tampa Bay and Orlando markets.
- Training & Onboarding: Design and deliver onboarding and ongoing training covering product knowledge, sales methodology, CRM/SPOTIO usage, and company standards.
- Performance Management: Set individual and team sales targets, monitor performance against KPIs, conduct regular one-on-ones, and manage the disciplinary and termination process for underperforming representatives when necessary.
- Motivation & Culture: Develop incentive structures, recognition programs, and coaching practices that drive engagement, retention, and a strong sales culture across both markets.
- Territory Management: Allocate accounts and territory coverage between Tampa Bay and Orlando to maximize market penetration and revenue.
- Reporting: Provide regular sales forecasts, pipeline reports, and market performance updates to company leadership.
- Cross-Market Coordination: Travel regularly between the Tampa Bay and Orlando markets to ensure consistent leadership presence, team support, and client relationship oversight.
- Growth Partnership: Act as a hands-on, ground-level leader who helps shape sales processes and team structure as My Beverage Company scales into additional markets.
Daily Sales Activity & Accountability Standards
You will be responsible for ensuring every sales representative on your team meets the following daily standards:
- Daily Outreach Block: Each rep must carve out dedicated time every single day for email outreach, telemarketing (cold calling), and texting โ no exceptions.
- Mandatory Ride-Along: You will spend approximately 25โ40% of your working time in the field on ride-alongs and coaching (roughly 30% as a general benchmark), with more time allocated to newer or underperforming reps.
- Mandatory Power Hour: A daily team Power Hour from 4:20 PM to 5:20 PM, focused on high-intensity outreach.
- Activity Tracking: All touchpoints โ calls, emails, texts, and in-person visits โ must be logged and captured in SPOTIO in real time.
Travel Requirements
This role covers two distinct markets and requires regular day travel between Tampa Bay and Orlando, plus overnight travel at least one night per week. Candidates must be comfortable with a travel-heavy schedule as a standing part of the job, not an occasional exception.
Required Qualifications
- Documented, verifiable experience leading a sales team โ not just individual sales production. Be prepared to discuss specific examples of hiring, training, motivating, and terminating sales representatives.
- 3+ years of sales management or field sales leadership experience, ideally in a multi-market or outside/direct sales environment.
- A demonstrated track record of building sales teams from the ground up and growing them over time.
- Strong communication, coaching, and motivational leadership skills.
- Willingness and ability to travel regularly between the Tampa Bay and Orlando markets, including overnight travel at least one night per week.
- Proficiency with CRM and field activity tracking systems, including SPOTIO or similar tools.
- Valid driver's license, reliable personal vehicle, and a clean driving record โ required for daily territory and ride-along travel.
- A growth mindset: this role is built for someone who wants to grow into larger leadership responsibility as the company scales.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience managing sales teams across multiple, geographically distinct markets.
- Familiarity with the Tampa Bay and/or Orlando business markets.
- Prior sales leadership awards, recognitions, or performance accolades.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
Compensation
Base salary of $60,000 USD annually, plus uncapped monthly commission earned per sales representative based on that rep's individual monthly sales production. Commission is calculated per rep, per month, based on the highest tier reached (tiers do not stack), and is paid out quarterly:
| Rep's Monthly Sales | Sales Manager Commission |
|---|---|
| $75,000+ in a month | $1,000 per rep |
| $37,500+ in a month | $500 per rep |
| $18,750+ in a month | $250 per rep |
Final commission plan details are subject to periodic review by My Beverage Company.
Benefits
- Medical, dental, and vision insurance
- 401(k) retirement plan, anticipated to be offered by end of year
- Paid time off (PTO) and paid holidays
- Gasoline reimbursement for inter-market travel via company credit card (see Vehicle Policy below)
- Cell phone / laptop: Bring Your Own Device (BYOD)
Vehicle & Travel Reimbursement Policy
This role requires use of your personal vehicle for daily territory coverage, ride-alongs, and travel between the Tampa Bay and Orlando markets. Gasoline expenses will be reimbursed via company credit card. Once you have hired and trained 6 full-time sales representatives across both markets, My Beverage Company will provide a company vehicle.
Application & Selection Process
This is a leadership hire, and we will run a thorough process to make sure we get it right:
- Resumes will be read thoroughly and evaluated for documented sales leadership experience, not just sales performance.
- Professional references will be checked, with a focus on your track record hiring, training, motivating, and managing sales representatives.
- Prior sales leadership accolades, awards, and performance recognitions will be reviewed as part of your candidacy.
- Shortlisted candidates should be prepared to speak in detail about specific team-leadership situations, including performance management and termination decisions.
Equal Opportunity Employer
My Beverage Company is an Equal Opportunity Employer. All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, or any other protected characteristic.

About the Role
My Beverage Company is looking for a motivated, organized, and coachable Entry-Level Sales Representative to join our growing field sales team. In this role, you will manage an assigned territory, build relationships with existing accounts, and drive new business through consistent daily activity. A critical part of this role is conducting thorough account research โ including verifying the official registered business name via Florida's Sunbiz.org database and identifying the true final decision maker at every account, along with their direct cellphone number and email address. You will be supported by industry-leading tools including BadgerMaps for route and account management and Cin7 for order management and sales history. This is a great opportunity for someone who thrives in a structured, metrics-driven environment and is eager to build a career in sales.
Core Hours & Daily Schedule
- Core field hours are 8:00 AM โ 5:00 PM or 9:00 AM โ 6:00 PM; no later than 9:00 AM to be active in your territory โ no exceptions.
- Power Hour runs daily from 4:20 PM to 5:20 PM โ a dedicated, non-negotiable block for catch-ups, follow-ups, loose ends, pending action items, and any outstanding account communications.
- Immediately following Power Hour, one final sales call is required before ending the day โ minimum 16 completed calls on any given day.
- The structure of every day: territory calls from open โ Power Hour (4:20โ5:20 PM) โ one closing call โ end of day reporting.
Daily Field Activity
- Complete a minimum of 15 to 25 sales calls per day โ this is a non-negotiable daily activity standard.
- Execute a planned daily call route using BadgerMaps, optimizing for territory coverage and efficiency.
- Conduct in-person visits, phone calls, texts, and emails with prospects and existing accounts using the company-assigned iPad.
- All communication with accounts and prospects โ including SMS text messages, phone calls, and emails โ must be conducted exclusively through the company-assigned iPhone; use of a personal cellphone for any business communication is not permitted and My Beverage Company will not reimburse personal cellphone use under any circumstances.
- All check-ins conducted via text message must be screenshot immediately and uploaded into BadgerMaps as the official check-in record โ this is mandatory for every text-based touchpoint without exception.
- Research every new prospect on Sunbiz.org (Florida Division of Corporations) prior to or during the visit to verify the official registered business name and identify the legal owner / final decision maker.
- Capture and record the final decision maker's full name, direct cellphone number, and email address โ not just the general outlet phone number.
- Log every customer interaction in BadgerMaps immediately following each touchpoint (check-ins, call notes, outcomes).
- Complete and submit a Daily Activity Report (DAR) by end of each business day.
Sales & Merchandising โ Dual Role
Every Sales Representative at My Beverage Company is both a salesperson and a merchandiser. These responsibilities are inseparable and carry equal weight.
- On every single in-person visit, photograph the account's functional section โ the area of the store where our products are or should be displayed (shelf, cooler, counter display, etc.).
- Photos must be taken before and after any merchandising activity to document the condition of the section upon arrival and the improvement made.
- All photos must be uploaded directly into BadgerMaps as part of the visit check-in โ this is an absolute requirement and is non-negotiable.
- Ensure products are properly faced, rotated, and positioned for maximum visibility and sales impact at every account.
- Identify and report any out-of-stock, misplaced, or damaged product during every visit.
- Advocate for additional shelf space, cooler placement, and display opportunities at each account.
- Capture key metrics on every sales call without exception โ see Key Performance Metrics below.
- Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities within existing accounts.
- Manage all follow-ups, action items, and next steps through BadgerMaps task and follow-up features.
- Maintain accurate account records and contact information in BadgerMaps CRM.
Order Management
- Enter and manage customer orders through Cin7.
- Review account sales history in Cin7 prior to customer visits to prepare informed, data-driven conversations.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure accurate order fulfillment and timely delivery.
Reporting
- Submit a complete Daily Activity Report (DAR) every day covering calls made, accounts visited, outcomes, and next steps.
- Participate in weekly sales review meetings and present activity data.
- Maintain up-to-date pipeline and opportunity data at all times.

The following metrics are mandatory and must be logged in BadgerMaps for each and every sales call:
